Three Cardinal Points in the Production of Gyratory Cone Crusher

In the production process of gyratory cone crusher, operators must act up to the common sense of operation, correctly manipulate and maintain it.

1. The precautions before booting

Before booting, we should thoroughly check and ensure that the connection is in good condition, the oil is adequate, the belt tightness is moderate, the rotating direction of the horizontal shaft is correct and that the air in the discharging mouth hydraulic piping is drained away. If the temperature of lubricating oil is too low, we must start the heater to heat the lubricant. The gyratory cone crusher shouldn't be started until the temperature of oil return pipe reaches to 17℃ at least. For the first booting of new cone crusher, the oil return pipe temperature must reach to 30℃ and the machine must keep running for 2 hours unloaded.

2. The adjustment of operating parameters

To produce qualified stone materials, we must adjust and proofread the output size over and over. Through multiple operation adjustments and tests, we can finally determine the size of the discharge mouth. As the production continues, the lining board will be worn constantly and the outlet size will enlarge gradually. It needs us to make a detailed record and adjust the discharge mouth accordingly.

3. The lubrication of gyratory cone crusher

Before gyratory cone crusher starts to work, we should inject a right amount of grease between the thrust plate and adjusting bearer. After it idles for a period of time, we should check the working current and voltage and detect abnormal noise. After everything is confirmed, then send stone materials and begin the crushing operation. The lubricating oil should be changed every 3 to 6 months. When changing oil, use clean gasoline or kerosene to clean the rolling bearing's raceway.
